Ben-Gurion arrives at court to voice his viewpoint in five burning historical events that still effect the state of Israel today: The Declaration of the State of Israel, the Altalena affair, Population Dispersion (the creation of the development towns in Israel’s periphery), State-religion ties the “Status Quo” agreement and Israel- Diaspora relations.
The public is invited to serve as jury members in this imaginary court: get to know both sides of each event, develop a complicated view of the figures, and at the end –vote and make a difference. Join us in court!
The interactive movie is presented at a movie theater in the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute, located in Midreshet Ben-Gurion. It is also available online! Additional virtual activities such as a decision-making workshop can be added.
